No fake certainty

Sometimes the right score is no score yet.

JFS is designed to withhold a full rating when the required data is incomplete or internally implausible.

01

Required nutrition can be missing

The JFS v2 full score depends on a complete set of supported nutrition factors. If required values are absent, the app should not invent them.

02

Ingredients matter too

The ingredient-quality component needs an ingredient list. A nutrition-only record can be useful to read, but it is not enough for the full JFS v2 rating.

03

Basic plausibility checks protect the result

JFS can flag impossible or contradictory values, such as nutrition amounts outside expected ranges or values that conflict with the ingredient list.

04

Coverage can improve later

A product that cannot be rated today may become rateable when a better source record appears or the database is updated.
