Where does JFS get product information?
JFS can retrieve data from USDA FoodData Central and Open Food Facts. Coverage and freshness vary, so always verify the current package label.
Do I need an account?
Core barcode scanning and product search can work without an account. Signing in enables account-related features such as private cloud backup.
What happens when I use AI Photo Scan?
Only after you explicitly choose photo analysis is the selected image sent through the JFS service to OpenAI for a constrained product candidate and visible-label reading.
What does Premium include?
Premium includes unlimited barcode scanning, 30 included AI photo analyses per billing cycle, Today's JFS Picks, personalized Smart Snack Swaps, comparisons, shopping lists, cloud backup, and weekly educational insights. Store-displayed terms control actual purchase details.
Can I buy more AI credits?
Optional consumable packs add +10, +30, or +100 AI photo credits. Purchased credits are intended not to expire in the app.
How do I delete my account?
